Sales reps can hop back and forth between data sources and their sequencing tool to change templates, subject lines, and copy. Or they can quickly personalize sequence steps directly from their source of customer intelligence.

In this playbook we’ll show you how to customize sequence steps in Outreach to tailor outbound without the tab hopping.

Step 1: Add prospect to Outreach sequence

Let’s say we’re an SDR or AE sequencing contacts for a specific sales play.

Our team has created multiple templates and sequences in Outreach to choose from, but there are times when we want to edit individual steps in a sequence.

First we’d activate Common Room’s sequencing feature.

Step 2: Edit Outreach sequence steps

Once we decide which sequence to add a contact to, we can then edit individual steps within that sequence to suit our needs.

Maybe we want to switch up the template. Or tweak the subject line. Or update the copy with AI-generated messaging that pulls from the data points and buying signals in Common Room.

We can do all of the above for multiple steps without toggling tabs.
